Concordia Wisconsin picked to win inaugural NAC women's basketball title The Falcons received six first place votes in the poll, Lakeland two and Aurora three. Benedictine University, picked to finish fourth, received the remaining first place vote. Concordia Wisconsin won 19 games last season (19-9), improving from just 9 wins the previous season. The Flacons took second in the former Lake Michigan Conference in both the regular season standings and tournament. Lakeland College (21-8) won both the regular season and tournament titles in the LMC last season, before falling to Maryville University (Mo.) in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship. That appearance marked the Muskies' fifth trip to the national tournament in seven seasons. Aurora University is coming off a 14-13 campaign last season, winning 8 of their last 11 games. The Spartans have made the NCAA Division III Championship four times, most recently in 2004. Benedictine University (13-13) strung together a streak of six wins, before dropping the final two of the 2005-06 season.
