Kittoe earns spot on Academic All-District team
MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College senior Jordane Kittoe (Potosi, Wis.) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V second team. According to head coach Tola Neils, "Jordane is a tremendous student-athlete. She is committed to achieving excellence in everything she does. We are very fortunate to have such a quality leader on and off the floor. Jordane being selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Team is a well deserved honor and we are very proud of her."

Academic All-District and Academic All-America teams are chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). District V includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Ontario.

Through 21 games in the 2006-07 season, Kittoe is shooting 40.4 percent (47.7 percent from three-point range) for an average of 16.5 points per game. Kittoe has also recently taken over Lisa Gross (McFarland, Wis.) as the fourth all-time leading scorer at Edgewood College (1,301 career points).

Kittoe has managed a 3.81 cumulative grade point average majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. In addition to these achievements, she has also been named on the Dean's List multiple times. Kittoe was first team Academic All-District V in 2004-05.

Kittoe is one of two student-athletes from the state of Wisconsin to be honored in the College Division and Edgewood College is one of two schools in the state to be represented on the District V team.
