Aurora men, CUW women win Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships
KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Aurora University men's and the Concordia University Wisconsin women's indoor track & field teams captured the 2007 Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships today at Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center on the Carthage College campus.

The Spartans won the men's championship with a team score of 186, 30 points better than runner-up Concordia University Wisconsin. The Spartans captured titles in eight events including the 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter dash, 55 meter hurdles, triple jump, shot put, high jump and pole vault.

The Falcons women won seven events which included the 55 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 5000 meter run, long jump, triple jump, shot put and high jump. CUW tallied 213.5 points to claim the women's championship, followed by Wisconsin Lutheran College (122.5) who finished second, and Aurora University (110) in third.
