Mayyou reaches 1,000 points
MEQUON, Wis. -- The Falcon's tenth straight conference win came at the expense of the host Crusaders last evening. Once again it was the effective inside formula of forwards Krista Mayyou (22) and Pearl Wallace (16) points doing the damage offensively for Stacey Brunner's cagers.

The twin posts combined for 13-21 shooting from the floor and 9-10 from the charity stripe. Mayyou's final shot, a successful 3-point effort, allowed her to reach the 1000 point mark for her career.

Concordia (12-4 overall) had a decisive 38-20 rebound advantage and shot 49% from the floor in the process of dropping Maranatha to 6-8 on the season. CUW also hit a season-best 18-20 from the line.
