DeMarco scores 1,000th career point
MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College junior forward Chris DeMarco became the 16th player in Eagle history to reach the 1,000 point plateau in Saturday's come-from-behind victory over Concordia Chicago.

DeMarco scored his 1,000th point with 2:42 remaining, hitting the jumper and drawing the foul. DeMarco sunk the free-throw to extend his career total to 1,001. He ended the unforgettable night with 21 points and 10 boards, helping the Eagles erase a 19-point deficit with only five minutes remaining. DeMarco now sits in 16th place on the all-time scoring list with 1,004 points, averaging 17.6 points per game for his career.
