Dominican's Garcia sets new school record In a 72-51 win over Benedictine University last Tuesday, Garcia poured in a game-high 20 points off the Stars' bench, connecting on all six of his three-point attempts in the game. That performance earned Garcia the top single-game three-point field goal percentage in Dominican University history with a minimum of six attempts in a game. Garcia continued his hot shooting streak on Saturday in a 70-68 win over Marian College. Garcia scored a team-high 18 points in 27 minutes off the Stars' bench in the winning effort. Garcia went 4-of-6 from three in the game but was perfect 4-of-4 from three in the first half as he helped the Stars to a 40-32 halftime lead. Garcia missed his lone two three-point attempts in the second half on Saturday, but with his first four attempts and his six three's on Tuesday, the Kenosha native set the Dominican University record for consecutive three-point field goals made and in the process helped the Stars to a pair of much needed Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) victories. In just under two seasons with the Dominican University men's basketball program, Garcia has scored 639 career points, connecting on 112 of his 263 career three-point attempts.
