Reinemann chosen to lead WLC baseball program Reinemann returns to his alma mater after spending the last five years teaching english and serving as the head varsity baseball and girls basketball coach at Northland Lutheran High School in Wausau, Wis. Prior to his appointment at Northland Lutheran, Reinemann had two different stints with the Winnebago Lutheran Academy softball and baseball programs as hitting and infield coach. He has also worked alongside many current and former professional players as an instructor at Mike Heagan’s Grand Slam Baseball Camp. A certified hitting instructor with Pro Hitting, Reinemann has also spent time in the scouting and baseball operations departments with the Milwaukee Brewers. Since 2004, he has established and conducted Christian outreach baseball camps in the Dominican Republic. Reinemann graduated from WLC in 1993 with a bachelor degree in English. A four-year starting infielder on the WLC baseball team, he served as team captain, was named NAIA All-District, All-Lake Michigan Conference and was the recipient of the WLC Scholar-Athlete Award his senior season. After graduation, Reinemann returned to WLC in 1994 to serve as an assistant baseball coach, responsible for hitting, defense and recruiting for one season. Reinemann went on to receive his bachelor of science degree in education from Martin Luther College in 1997. A member of the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association, he attended Howards Grove High School in Howards Grove, Wis., where he served as team captain of the baseball, basketball and football teams and was an All-Central Lakeshore Conference performer in baseball and football his senior year.
