Emily Laete, Wisconsin Lutheran College

Laete averaged 25.3 points per game this past week as she led Wisconsin Lutheran to three conference tournament wins and the 2008 NAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship. She scored 27, 18 and a season-high 31 points in wins over Aurora University, Concordia University Chicago and Edgewood College, respectively. For the week, she shot 48 percent (30-62) from the floor, including 9-of-19 from beyond the three-point arc, and averaged 5.3 rebounds per game.

February 18-24

Krista Woldeit, Concordia University Chicago

Woldeit led the Cougars to a three-game sweep last week, locking up third place in the NAC standings. Woldeit had 17 points and 5 rebounds versus Marian College on Tuesday. On Friday versus Rockford College she scored 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and had 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double of season. Finishing off the week, the junior forward scored 22 points on 10-of-12 from the field and had 5 rebounds versus Maranatha. For the week she averaged 19.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting almost 70% from the floor.

Jessica Salinas , Dominican University

Salinas helped the Dominican University Stars to back-to-back wins for just the second time this season as she averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 blocks in a pair of Northern Athletics Conference victories last week. In an overtime two-point, 71-69, win over Alverno College last Wednesday, Salinas poured in a game-high 20 points and logged 5 rebounds, 5 steals and a block while playing all 45 minutes of the contest. Salinas then scored 15 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and tallied 5 assists, 3 blocks and a steal in a 73-65 win over Marian College.

February 4-10

Tamika Curtis, Benedictine University

Curtis strung together three-consecutive double-doubles as her Eagles went 2-1 on the week. Curtis averaged 21.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 3.3 assists per games last week, all while shooting nearly 63 percent (27-of-43) from the field. She has also tallied in double-figure scoring in 21 of 22 contests this season.

January 28-February 3

Ambrial Miller, Alverno College

Miller was instrumental to her team this week as Alverno notched its first ever win in a Northern Athletics Conference game. After a good showing against Dominican University earlier in the week (assist/turnover ratio of 4:1), Miller put up career bests in scoring and rebounding in the Inferno's 73-51 win over MSOE on Saturday. Miller scored 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to help Alverno lead from coast-to-coast. She also added two assists and two blocked shots in the victory. For the game, Miller shot 59% from the floor on 10-of-17 shooting including 2-of-3 from behind the three-point arc, and shot 5-of-7 from the free throw line.

Tamika Curtis, Benedictine University

Curtis average a double-double of 20.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in three NAC contests last week. She shot over 62 percent from the floor going 23-of-37 in the three contests, where the Eagles went 2-1. Curtis also averaged 2.0 blocks per contest and registered her tenth double-double of the season with her 20 point-18 rebound effort in a loss at Lakeland, snapping the Eagles' 4-game winning streak.

Dillon averaged 27 points per game as the Warriors split a pair of games this past week, which included a 100-94 quadruple-overtime loss to Lakeland College on Saturday. In the overtime loss to Lakeland -- the Warriors' first NAC loss of the season -- Dillon scored a career-high 36 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 5 steals. Earlier in the week at Dominican, Dillon led all scorers with a game-high 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting and grabbed 6 rebounds in the victory.

Megan Scheele, Edgewood College

Last Tuesday Scheele had 24 points and 13 rebounds in the Eagles' 61-52 victory over Loras College, giving the Duhawks only their second loss on the season. Against Benedictine on Saturday, Scheele scored 30 points helping Edgewood erase a 17-point deficit to pull out the conference victory. In addition she grabbed 11 rebounds marking her seventh straight double-double. She improved her scoring average to 25.0 ppg, currently best in NCAA Division III.

In Wednesday's loss at Elmhurst College in a non-conference tilt, Curtis became Benedictine's women's basketball career scoring leader as she finished the game with 22 points to lead all scorers. In Saturday's NAC win over Concordia Chicago, Curtis had 24 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks -- all game-high totals. For the week Curtis averaged 23.0 points, 16.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 4.0 blocks per game. She also shot over 70% from the field.

Scheele tallied 37 points, a point shy of the single-game school record for points in a game, in the Eagles' double-overtime loss to UW-Platteville last Saturday. In Edgewood's only game of the week she shot almost 70% from the field (16-of-23), pulled down 14 rebounds and also had 4 steals.

December 17-23

Tiffany Hardy, Benedictine University
...5'4...Senior...Guard...Kenosha, Wis. (Bradford)...
In the Eagles' 80-60 non-conference victory at Clarke College last Monday, Hardy led the team with 23 points and 7 rebounds. She shot 7-of-13 from the field (54%) and was 5-of-11 (46%) from three-point range and dished out 2 assists.

Angie Butler, Rockford College

Butler continued her strong play with a game-high 25 points and 9 rebounds in the 60-56 win at Lakeland College, the Regents' only game last week. With the win, the Regents move to 4-0 in the NAC. The senior forward shot 57% from the field while hitting a staggering 9-of-10 from the free throw line. She surpassed the 500 rebound career milestone with her 9 rebounds versus Lakeland, and became the fifth player in Rockford College history to join the 1000 point/500 rebound club.

Jessica Salinas, Dominican University

Salinas scored a game-high 23 points in the Stars' first win of the season as Dominican knocked off Moody Bible Institute last Thursday, 77-52. Salinas finished the game with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists. On Saturday against Wisconsin Lutheran College, Salinas poured in a game and career-high 31 points on 14-for-14 shooting from the field, tying an all-division NCAA record for field goal percentage in a single game. Salinas also added 10 rebounds in the losing effort, turning in her first double-double effort of the season.

Butler had a nice week to lead the Regents to a 2-0 record in conference play. Butler led the Regents with 18 points in the thrilling 63-60 win over Dominican University. Butler eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career in the first half against the Stars and also scored the game winner with 17 seconds remaining on the clock. In the 77-44 win over Alverno College, Butler led all scorers with 18 points on 62% shooting from the floor in just 17 minutes of action. For the week Butler averaged 18.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Bravo led the Cougars to a 66-58 conference-opening win over defending champion Concordia Wisconsin on Tuesday with 23 points (10-of-18 from the floor). She scored 10 points in a first-half run that helped CUC turn a 22-10 deficit into a 27-26 halftime lead. For the week she averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game.

Terra Hiben, Lakeland College

Hiben scored a game-high 15 points in Lakeland's 51-31 win over Ripon College in the championship game of Lakeland's "Play with Grace" Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday. The win marks the first time since 2004 that Lakeland has won the tournament title. Hiben was also named the tournament MVP and was a member of the all-tournament team for her efforts. For the week she averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 56 percent from the field, including 3-of-5 from the three-point line.
