Tamika Curtis, Benedictine University

Curtis led the Eagles (20-8, 14-5 NAC) to a second place finish in the NAC tournament last week, including the first-ever 20-win season in the program's 32-year history. Curtis tallied double-doubles in all three tournament games averaging 14.7 points and 13.3 rebounds per game. She also averaged 2.7 assists, 2.3 blocks and 3.3 steals per game.

...5'11...Senior...Forward...Oostburg, Wis. (Oostburg)...
Ten Pas closed out her career at WLC with team-highs of 17 points and 10 rebounds in the Warriors' (15-11, 13-6 NAC) 68-64 loss to Edgewood College in the NAC tournament last Monday. This marked her fifth double-double of the season.

Laete poured in a career-high 38 points in the Warriors' 77-67 victory over Lakeland College last Wednesday, going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line and 15-of-24 from the floor. On Saturday Laete poured in 25 points, 20 of which came in the second half, to lead the Warriors (15-11, 13-6 NAC) to an 81-73 win over Maranatha Baptist. Once again she was perfect from the charity stripe, shooting 9-of-9.

February 5-11

Curtis helped the Eagles (16-7, 12-5 NAC) to a 2-1 record last week as she averaged 24.7 points, 15.0 rebounds, 5.0 blocks, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game. Against conference champion Concordia University Wisconsin, Curtis recorded season-highs of 34 points and 7 blocks in the 78-74 loss. She then followed that up with an 18 point-18 rebound game at Lakeland College, a 50-29 victory for the Eagles. To finish off the week, she recorded a season-high 20 rebounds in a victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College, where she also shot 8-of-8 fro the field scoring 22 points.

On the week in which Guise led the Spartans (13-7, 10-4 NAC) to a 2-0 NAC record, she averaged 23.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals per game. In AU's 73-55 win over Marian College, Guise had a game-high 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

Kristen Ruppe, Concordia University Wisconsin

Ruppe led the Falcons to three victories last week, extending their current winning streak to ten games. Ruppe started out the week with team-highs of 16 points and 8 rebounds in a Northern Athletics Conference victory over Aurora University. She then had 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 70-69 double-overtime victory over Concordia University Chicago. In the championship game of the Concordia Invitational Tournament, Ruppe tallied 12 points and 13 rebounds in the 74-68 victory over Concordia University-Nebraska, and was named the tournament MVP.

Chin scored a career-high 18 points and added 10 rebounds, recording her fifth double-double of the year, in Wednesday's 72-66 loss to Aurora University. The Cougars trailed by 22 with 8 minutes to go, but Chin scored 11 of the Cougars' final 19 points to make the game close. She then just missed a double-double in Saturday's 73-49 win over Alverno College, scoring 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting and pulling down 9 rebounds.

Curtis helped the Eagles ((10-4, 6-2 NAC) to a 2-1 record for the week, recording a pair of double-doubles in the process. Curtis opened up the week with 26 points and 16 rebounds, both game highs, in a 68-59 road loss to Wisconsin Lutheran College. Curtis then recorded her second double-double of the week tallying game-highs of 13 points and 17 rebounds in a 59-39 win over Clarke College. To finish up the week she shot 10-of-12 scoring 21 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in a 85-70 win over Maranatha. For the week she averaged 21.3 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game including 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game on the defensive end.

Curtis led the Eagles (8-4, 5-2 NAC) to a pair of victories last week, defeating Judson College 68-60 in overtime, and Concordia University Chicago 73-72. In the win over Judson, Curtis hit two free throws with no time remaining to send the game to overtime, adding to her game-high 24 points. Versus Concordia, she nailed the game-winning jumper as time expired to give the Eagles the victory. For the week she averaged 23.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 46% (17-of-37) from the field and 94% (13-of-14) from the free throw line.

Chelsea Slater, Rockford College

Slater tallied 12 points, 12 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in the Regents' 63-53 win over Concordia University-Ann Arbor on Dec. 28 in Rockford's Holiday Tournament opening round game. In the tournament championship, Rockford (3-8, 1-4 NAC) fell to North Park University where Slater was held to five points, but grabbed nine rebounds and had seven assists. Slater was also named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts.

Guise was the leading scorer in the Spartans' (6-3, 3-1 NAC) 70-58 non-conference win over North Central College. Guise had 25 points on 11-of-20 shooting from the field, grabbed seven rebounds and had two assists.

Slater recorded her first career triple-double in the Regents' 76-61 victory at Maranatha last Friday. Slater had 11 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for Rockford's (2-6, 1-3 NAC) first conference win this season. She also added five steals and had only two turnovers in the game.

Jenna Boehm, Lakeland College

Boehm led the Muskies (5-2, 3-0 NAC) to a pair of Northern Athletics Conference victories last week over Concordia University Chicago and Rockford College. Boehm tallied 20 points and nine rebounds while shooting 50% from the field against CUC. Versus Rockford, Boehm recorded eight points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks. For the week Boehm averaged 14 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.

Scheele averaged 25.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in the Eagles' three games last week, their only loss coming to NCAA Division II Winona State on Monday. The Eagles (3-3, 2-0 NAC) then rallied to NAC victories over Dominican University and Maranatha Baptist Bible College. Versus the Stars, Scheele contributed 30 points, and was 10-of-10 from the free throw line, to go along with 13 rebounds -- seven on the offensive glass. Scheele then poured in 34 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field in the win over Maranatha, marking the fourth time in six games this season Scheele has gone for 30 points or more.

Ellie Bravo, Concordia University Chicago

Bravo played an excellent all-around game in the Cougars' 75-55 win over the University of Dubuque on November 22. Bravo enjoyed a perfect shooting night on 5-of-5 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line for 14 points, one of four Cougars in double figures. She also added four rebounds, four assists and a game-high six steals. Ellie's three consecutive baskets helped quell a late Dubuque rally that had trimmed the CUC (2-1) lead to 12 points with 6 minutes to go.

November 13-19

Guise got off to a hot start for the Spartans, opening up the season against Greenville College she helped AU overcome a 10-point halftime deficit to rally for an 84-81 victory. In the process she tied a school record with 44 points on 17-of-31 shooting from the field, 6-of-12 from three-point range and added seven rebounds. Guise then scored 24 points and grabbed eight boards in a 63-56 loss to Concordia University-Ann Arbor, where she also had two steals and two blocks on the defensive end.
