program at Alverno College
MILWAUKEE,
Wis. -- Alverno College will be adding women’s tennis to its
athletics program beginning in the fall of 2009, as announced by
Director of Athletics Brad Duckworth.

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- On Monday, Rockford College Athletic Director
Randy Schrader named A.J. Segneri as the new coach for both the

Women's Tennis Championship
MADISON, Wis. -- The Edgewood College women's
tennis team won seven of the nine individual championships and
claimed the Northern Athletics Conference women's tennis
championship on Sunday at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison.

For the third consecutive year
Edgewood College will serve as host to the Northern Athletics
Conference women’s tennis championships. The tournament will take

follow Canedo as head tennis coach
MILWAUKEE,
Wis. -- MSOE Athletic Director Dan Harris announced today that men’s
and women’s tennis assistant coach Blake Wentz will succeed Tony
Canedo as head coach of both programs. Canedo, a lawyer, is leaving
the state to pursue other professional opportunities.

Semenik named women’s tennis
coach at Benedictine
LISLE,
Ill. -- Mandy Semenik, a former standout student-athlete for
Benedictine University, has been named as the new head coach for the
Eagles’ women’s tennis program. Semenik replaces Meagan Weemer, who
stepped down after the 2006 season.

Barber accepts position of women's tennis coach at Edgewood College

Wis. -- Edgewood College has named Robert Barber as the school's
next head coach for women's tennis Director of Athletics Al Brisack
announced today. Barber is a USPTR certified tennis professional
with 10 years of coaching experience and a former standout
student-athlete.
