Kibiersza helped lead Aurora to a third place finish in the
competitive University of Chicago meet. He finished second in the
shot put with a school record throw of 15.51m and finished eighth in
the weight throw with a throw of 12.63m. His 15.51m throw in the
shot put was 0.03m away from the NCAA provisional mark.

Kimyenna Abron, Benedictine University

Abron posted the eighth-fastest time in the nation for NCAA Division
III in the women's 55-meter dash (7.21 seconds), highlighting the
team's efforts at the Lewis University Dick Pond Open on Friday
evening. Abron used the meet to re-set her own school records in the
55 and 200 meter races. She won the 55-meter dash and also won the
200 meters with a time of 25.85 seconds. That time is a full
one-quarter of a second better than her previous record run (26.10).

Matt Lindgren, Rockford College
...5'9...Sophomore...Oak Forest, Ill. ...
Lindgren placed first in the 800 meter while setting a new school
record, besting 21 other runners with a time of 1:59.94. He also ran
the second leg of the 4x400m, with Tony Hardin, Chad Zeman, and Rob
Fry, which also set a school record.

Catherine Chappell, MSOE
...5'8...Senior...Lemont, Ill. ...
Chappell had four top-two finishes, including two event wins, at the
UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday. Chappell set a new school
record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.49 seconds, which was
also good for the event win. Her distance of 5.16 meters in the long
jump also placed her first. She also finished second in the 55 meter
dash and the shot put.

Tom Sroka, Aurora University
...5'11...Junior...Bridgeview, Ill. (Argo)...
Sroka set an Aurora indoor school record in the weight throw,
besting his previous school record by five inches at the Lewis
University Dick Pond Invitational on Saturday. His 50'7.25" throw
placed him third in the event. Sroka also placed 10th in the shot
put with a finish of 41'11.25".

Kimyenna Abron, Benedictine University

Abron won the 400 meter dash at the Lewis University Dick Pond
Invitational with a time of 1:01.09, defeating 26 in the field of
competition which included runners from multiple divisions and
affiliations. In the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.44 seconds, she
placed third behind only an unattached runner and a Division I
finisher. Abron was the only DIII finisher in the finals of the
event.

Brian Seniuk, MSOE

Seniuk set two school records at the Carthage College Tadd Metzger
Invite on Saturday. In the 400 meter dash, in which he placed first,
Seniuk broke his own school record with a time of 51.24 seconds. In
the 200 meter dash he placed second with a time of 23.00 seconds,
again breaking his own school record. His finishes helped his team
to a sixth place finish at the event.

Samantha Bloxdorf, Concordia University Wisconsin
...5'10...Junior...Hartford, Wis. ...
Bloxdorf placed second in the triple jump at the Illinois Wesleyan
University Titan Open with a finish of 10.55 meters on Saturday. She
also set personal bests in the shot put (11.71 meters) and weight
throw (13.12 meters), both top eight finishes at the event where the
Falcons finished seventh.

Zach Shiels, Wisconsin Lutheran College
...6'0...Junior...Johnson Creek, Wis. (Lakeside Lutheran)...
Shiels set a school-record in the mile run by finishing with a time
of 4:29.73, good for 11th place out of 45 competitors at the
UW-Whitewater Invitational on Saturday. He later placed sixth out of
43 runners in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:56.34.

Chappell scored 38 of MSOE's 42 points, leading the team to an
eighth place finish at the UW-Whitewater Invitational. Her distance
of 13.08 meters in the shot put made her a NCAA provisional
qualifier in addition to winning the event. She also placed first in
the long jump with a distance of 5.16 meters, and first in the 55
meter hurdles (8.84 seconds), both school records. In the high jump
Chappell placed second
with a mark of 1.57 meters.

Andrew Garvey, Edgewood College
...5'9...Freshman...McFarland, Wis. ...
The rookie set a new school record for the indoor mile with a time
of 4:47.58 at the UW-Platteville Open on Saturday. Garvey's time was
over 49 seconds better than the previous Eagle record, and good
enough for an eighth place finish at the vent.

Kimyenna Abron, Benedictine University

Abron set a pair of school records in the team's opening competition
of the indoor season at the Carthage Private College Invitational.
Abron eclipsed the 16-year old school record for the 55 meter dash
in a time of 7.57 seconds to advance to the finals. In the finale of
the 55 meters, she not only won the event, but also lowered the
record to 7.49 seconds. Abron's time was less than three-tenths of a
second from an NCAA III provisional qualifying time, as well. In the
200 meters, Abron placed second out of 32 competitors in the event.
However, her time of 26.83 shaved more than three-fourths of a
second off of the school's previous best.

Chad Zeman, Rockford College

Zeman finished the mile run with a time of 4:34.46, second only to a
Division I runner from Marquette University (4:32.40) at the Badger
Track Classic on Saturday. Zeman also joined teammates Matt
Lindgren, Tony Hardin, and Rob Fry to shave nearly six seconds off
the previous Rockford College record 4x400 meter relay time for a
3:46.86 final time.
